Privacy Policy

Secure Document Transfer

   VIALAN is committed to protecting your personal information. We keep our customer’s personal information confidentially and take all necessary precautions against disclosure of such information to third parties. Every VIALAN team member is under strict non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements. 

Data storage

Any copies of documents that you email to us are stored on a secure local server with access limited to translators and coordinators only. We keep your document on file for 3 years in case a copy will be needed in the future. If you want us to destroy it when your translation is complete, please tell us and we will do so.

Confidentiality

   All knowledge and information, expressly identified by client in writing as confidential, which VIALAN acquires during the term of translation process regarding the business and products of client shall be maintained in confidentiality by VIALAN. Except as expressly authorized by client in writing, shall not be divulged or published by VIALAN and shall not be authorized by VIALAN to be divulged or published by others. Confidential information for purposes of this paragraph shall not include the following:

             – Information, which is or becomes available to the public, provided the disclosure of such information did not result from a breach by VIALAN of this paragraph.

Translation is property of client, copyright

     Upon client’s completion of all payments, the translation of the document(s) shall be the property of Client. VIALAN has no obligation to take any steps to protect any copyright, trademark or other right of client with respect to the translation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, VIALAN shall have the right to retain file source copies of the document(s) to be translated and of the translation, subject to the provisions of paragraph above.

Secure online payment

We accept payment by credit card or PayPal. All transactions are processed through a secure server for online payment transactions. You may choose your payment method, and no matter how you pay, our company never receives any information about your credit card or bank account. This is our guarantee that you will never be subjected to credit card fraud by anyone in our company.

Your E-mail Address

VIALAN will not disclose any of your personal information to any other company or person.  We will use it only to contact you in regards to your order or requests for information. We do not send newsletters or any other type of email after your order is complete. We will never send unwanted email.
